The Foundation of Facial Balance

The chin and jawline are the anchors of the face. A weak or receding chin can make the nose appear overly prominent and cause the neck to look fleshy, completely disrupting your natural profile.

Unlike clinics that only offer temporary fillers, Dr. Pawan Shahane provides permanent, structural solutions. Whether it requires precisely advancing your own bone or placing a computer-designed 3D silicone implant, we create a strikingly sharp, redefined lower face that brings your entire profile into perfect harmony.

Our Structural Solutions

Comprehensive Surgical Options for the Lower Face

Custom 3D Silicone Implants

For patients requiring volume addition to the chin or jaw angles, we utilize bespoke 3D-printed silicone implants. These are customized to fit your exact bone structure, providing a permanent, strong, and entirely natural-looking enhancement without the need to cut bone.

Sliding Genioplasty

An elite surgical technique where Dr. Pawan makes a precise cut in the chin bone and advances it forward. This permanently corrects a severely receding chin using your body's own natural structure, eliminating the need for an artificial implant.

Mandible Angle Contouring

Also known as Jaw Shaving or V-Line surgery. For patients with an overly wide or square lower face, we surgically refine and contour the jawbone angles to create a softer, slimmer, and more elegant facial shape.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have visible scars on my face?
No. Dr. Pawan performs the vast majority of chin augmentations, genioplasties, and jaw contouring procedures entirely inside the mouth (intraoral incisions). This means there are absolutely no visible scars on your face or under your chin.
What is the difference between an Implant and Genioplasty?
A chin implant adds an artificial layer (solid silicone) over your existing bone to increase projection and width. Sliding genioplasty involves cutting and physically moving your own chin bone forward. Dr. Pawan will evaluate your X-rays and facial structure to recommend the best option for your specific anatomy.
How long is the recovery period?
You can expect moderate swelling and bruising around the chin and jawline for the first 7 to 10 days. Most patients return to desk work within a week. Because the incisions are inside the mouth, you will need to follow a soft-food diet and strict oral hygiene protocol for the first week to ensure perfect healing.
Can this be combined with Rhinoplasty?
Absolutely. In fact, combining Chin Augmentation with Rhinoplasty is incredibly common and often recommended. This combined procedure is known as "Profileplasty," as altering both the nose and the chin simultaneously achieves the ultimate facial balance.
