Surgical Details & Incision Placement
As a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Pawan utilizes meticulous micro-surgical techniques to ensure your scars are virtually invisible and hidden within natural skin folds.
1. The Inframammary Incision
The most common and safest approach. A tiny incision (approx. 3-4 cm) is hidden perfectly in the crease beneath the breast. It provides the surgeon excellent visibility and leaves no scar on the breast itself.
2. The Periareolar Incision
An incision made along the lower edge of the areola. The scar blends flawlessly into the natural pigment transition of the areola. Often used if a minor breast lift is being performed simultaneously.
3. Submuscular Placement (Dual Plane)
The implant is placed partially under the pectoral muscle. This is ideal for slim women, providing maximum coverage, a gentle upper slope, and preventing the edges of the implant from being visible.
4. Subglandular Placement
The implant is placed over the muscle, directly behind the breast gland. Typically reserved for women with ample existing breast tissue, resulting in a slightly faster recovery.

The Surgery Day
The procedure takes 1 to 2 hours under general anesthesia (you will feel zero pain). It is a day-care procedure, meaning you will recover in our VIP suite and go home the same afternoon.
Days 1 to 3 (The Healing Phase)
You will experience soreness and a feeling of tightness in the chest. Pain is easily managed with prescribed oral medication. You must sleep elevated on your back to minimize swelling.
Weeks 1 to 2 (Returning to Routine)
Most patients return to desk jobs within 5 to 7 days. You will wear a soft, specialized surgical support bra 24/7. Light walking is encouraged, but lifting arms high or carrying heavy objects is restricted.
Weeks 4 to 6 (The Final Contour)
The implants will begin to "drop and fluff"—settling into their final, natural position in the lower breast pocket. You are cleared to return to the gym, running, and all normal activities.
