Founder's Message

Elevating the Standard of Fetal Diagnostics in India

Maternal-Fetal Medicine is evolving at an unprecedented pace. The diagnostic capabilities we possess today were unimaginable a decade ago. However, technology is only as effective as the mind interpreting the image.

I established the Indian Institute of Fetal Medicine (IIFM) because Central India needed a premier epicenter for super-specialized education. We bridge the gap between basic obstetric ultrasound and elite fetal diagnostics.

"Our mission is not just to scan, but to educate. By training skilled clinicians, we exponentially multiply the number of mothers and babies we can protect."

— Dr. Kunda Shahane, Founder & Director
