Dr. Kunda Shahane is widely recognized as one of the most distinguished Fetal Medicine Specialists in Central India. After achieving her Master of Surgery (MS) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2009, Dr. Shahane practiced as a successful High-Risk Obstetrician for four years. However, recognizing a critical gap in highly specialized prenatal diagnostics in Nagpur, she pursued an elite super-specialty Fellowship in Fetal Medicine (FIFM) under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Prashant Acharya.
In 2014, Dr. Shahane returned to Nagpur and established the very first specialist Fetal Medicine unit in Central India at Mayflower Clinic. Her vision was clear: pregnant mothers in the Vidarbha region should not have to travel to metro cities to receive world-class, life-saving fetal care.
Today, she is the trusted referral destination for complex cases, chromosomal screenings, and intricate in-utero fetal therapies.
