The Architecture of Elegance
Erase deep forehead lines and elevate a heavy, drooping brow with advanced Endoscopic and Traditional Browlift techniques by M.Ch. Plastic Surgeon Dr. Pawan Shahane.
Schedule Your Facial AssessmentAs we age, the connective tissues in the forehead weaken, and gravity pulls the eyebrows downward. When the brow descends, it crowds the eyes, creating heavy folds of skin on the upper eyelids. It also causes deep horizontal creases across the forehead and harsh vertical "11" lines between the eyes.
This structural collapse creates a permanent expression of anger, exhaustion, or sadnessβeven when you feel perfectly happy. A Browlift (Forehead Lift) permanently raises the brow back to its youthful position, instantly opening up the eyes and smoothing the entire upper face.
Many patients visit us asking for Upper Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery) because they have heavy skin resting on their lashes. However, if the surgeon only removes eyelid skin without addressing the heavy, sagging brow above it, the distance between the eyebrow and the eyelashes becomes unnaturally short, making the eyes look even more crowded.
During your consultation, Dr. Pawan will manually lift your eyebrow to its proper position. If lifting the brow clears the heavy skin off your eyelids, then a Browlift is the correct anatomical solution. In many cases, Dr. Pawan performs a Browlift and a mild Blepharoplasty simultaneously for the ultimate eye rejuvenation.
We do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. Dr. Pawan selects the specific technique that matches your degree of aging and hairline position.
The modern gold standard for most patients. Dr. Pawan utilizes a tiny, fiber-optic camera (endoscope) inserted through 3 to 5 very small incisions hidden completely behind the hairline.
Reserved for patients with severe skin laxity or a very high, receding hairline that needs to be lowered. An incision is made either across the top of the head (within the hair) or right at the hairline.
The biggest fear patients have regarding a browlift is ending up with eyebrows that are pulled too high, making them look permanently "surprised" or unnatural. As an M.Ch. Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Pawan relies on strict mathematical proportions. He precisely weakens the depressor muscles (the muscles that pull the brow down and cause frown lines) while elevating the brow only to the natural bony rim of the eye socket, guaranteeing a relaxed, elegant result.
"People constantly asked me why I looked angry or if I was tired. It was so frustrating. I went to Dr. Pawan asking for eyelid surgery, but he showed me how my brow had dropped. He performed the endoscopic browlift, and the results are unbelievable. My eyes are completely open, the deep lines are gone, and I don't look 'surprised' at all. Just rested."
